The protective height of a safety light curtain refers to the distance between the uppermost and lowermost beams of the light curtain, which represents the effective height of the light curtain. The protective height is equal to the stroke of the machine slide plus the adjustment amount. The size of the protective height is related to the number of safety light curtain beams. If the number of beams is too few, the light curtain height may not fully cover the hazardous area, potentially leading to accidents.
